Committed to Addressing the Growing Mental Health Crisis


Led by the Schultz Family Foundation and Pinterest, YMHC is designed to scale nationally, leveraging cross-sector collaboration to maximize impact. These founding partners are committed to investing in young people as a solution to the mental health crisis and workforce shortages.

Through collaboration with state, funding, and strategic partners, the YMHC is building a scalable, community-driven solution to the youth mental health crisis and the behavioral health workforce shortage.
State YMHC Participants
In 2024, YMHC launched in four states, with over 300 young people serving at 165 community sites. In 2025, seven more states will launch, and six are actively designing their programs.

Planning states are using this year to design their YMHC programs. They’re identifying local needs, forging partnerships, and shaping innovative new pathways into the field — from career exploration to certification.
